Kano OS on SD Card

Windows Edition


1. Get the OS

Go to www.kano.me/downloads and click the Kano OS download link:

2. Move the OS

Extract the .zip file containing the OS in a location you can remember.

3. Open the disk imager

Launch the Win32DiskImager.exe utility contained in the folder win32-disk-imager.

You may get the following error:

Win32 Error

In case it happens: don't panic, just ignore it and click Ok, it shouldn't be a problem.

4. Follow the Instructions

Select the OS file that you previously downloaded and extracted and follow the instructions of the disk imager to get it on the SD card

5. Put it in your Pi

Once the Kano Burner tells you it's finished burning take the SD card out of your computer and put it in your Raspberry Pi. Plug in the power and you're ready to go!
